I finally got the Black Series Hood and lower lip I ordered from Sarona. The lower lip took 4 weeks to get and the hood took 12 weeks. I wasn’t in a rush as the car is put away for the winter. Over all I am very happy with the initial fit and finish. The hood is well made and sturdy. Pics below are just installed with no adjustments made at all. It’s gonna take very little bodywork to make it right. I think more adjusting than body work.

I visited Sarona's shop in Long Island City a few years ago to look at the same hood. At the time, they had a white R230 in the shop with the hood. The fit looked great. I have this on my list of updates I'm going to do at some point. The hood is heavier than stock, but much better quality than the $700-$1000 black series hoods they sell on ebay... stay away from those, they're junk (I tried).

I'm glad I spent the extra money and went with Sarona. Besides all the ones on ebay require hood pins.
