ESP visit workshop light
Members,
I've researched some of the similar threads for possible ideas on what is causing my white ESP light to illuminate on my 03 SL55 amg, but haven't found any requests for help that mimmick my situation. Because of that, I'm asking for guidance.
My car has zero power or acceleration when the ESP light is on or not on. I assume its in limp mode.
I tried pulling off the road and turning off ignition to reset light. That did remove the ESP Defectivez visit worshop message but as soon as I hit about 40 mph, the light reappeared. The esp button is functioning, as the yellow triangle emblem goes on and off when I push my esp button. The vehicle suspension height button is working also. Whether the warning light is on or off in the display, the car has no power- no SC. Feels like I'm in heat soak.
I don't have the Star diagnosis tool.
Does anyone have any ideas without telling me I have to go to the dealer?
