I'll probably be banned from the forum for asking, BUT
The ventilated seats on my 03 SL55 are nearly worthless. Has anyone upgraded the fans to get more air flow? I'm sure the fans were designed to move as much air as possible while being inaudible, but I really don't care if they sound like a hair dryer, I'd like more air!
So, is it possible to upgrade those fans, and can you get enough air to feel it while driving with the top down?

Well the ventilated seats weren't meant to blow air, but just to circulate the air so your back doesn't stick to the shirt.
Drive a car without the ventilation versus a car with, you can feel the difference at the end of the trip.
The end justifies the means?

First time I used them in the new SL65 ( which I received end June) I thought a window is not closed correctly ....
I was getting nervouse, cause I thought FU** what is this again????
After I slow down with the speed, and this "noise" was still there, I remembered that I put on the ventilation.
You're right, the airflow is not that big - but if I don't use it - my backside is getting really hot..... so I have to live with it....
