SLK320
18" wheels

I have a silver 2001 SLK320 and just got some new wheels. Before I put them on I was wondering if anyone can give me a heads up about any problems I might experience.

All four rims are 18x8 with a 35 offset

(F) 225/40/18
(R) 245/40/18

Also, i've attached a pic of the rim, let me know what you think. Thanks.

You really should use 245/35R18 or 255/35R18 tires in the rear.

Rims look good. Are they staggered? What are the width(s) and offset(s)?

Weight them before you put tires on them, it's always nice to know in case someone ask you, also the sizes you want to use would be 1 inch to tall throwing off you speedo among other things. Also how wide are the fronts and rears.

I put mine on and the problem is i now have a big fat ugly gap on all four and the car needs to be dropped badly...i am running 225/40/18F and 255/35/18R...this is based on tirerack recommendation.

The non sports package has the same suspension and thus the ride height, so yes, you will have a big fat gap (of course, this is subjective)

here's my ride

Nice car, davearisto. Do you have a closeup of the wheels? What brand/model are they, and are they true multipiece rims or multipiece-look?
