Either Kleemann or Kicherer kit break 250 hp if you read what else I'm going to do you will probaly notice that I will change more than just the boster kit

Boster kit ~ 230-235 hp
Supersprint cat-back, mainfolder and no cat ~ 5% more HP
Väth IC and BMC CDA box or open filter ads additional 5-10 hp
Then I should have about 250-260 HP

Engine tuning modifications don't add up together the same way they do separately. For example, if an intercooler modification adds 10hp and an exhaust modification adds 10hp, then together they will probably make only 12hp to 15hp instead of 20.

Still, Euro-spec SLK230s have 7hp more than US-spec SLKs to begin with, and alot of SLK230 owners will be interested in your results. Please keep us updated.

I know

The car has 197 HP stock I dont think its impossible to get 250 HP out of the SLK with minor modifications.

Using the boost kit along with a header (esp no cat) and a mild ECU tune, air filter and you can easily have 250hp at the crank- our C230 Kompressor coupe has this treatment.

Great Dog BTW

PS-

PM me if you want the schematic for a simple device (less than a Euro to make) that will keep your MIL off with no cat.

I have had several request to post the MIL cure for missing cats. This modification is for off road use only, never remove the cats from a car you intend to use on public roads. In the USA its a felony, I assume no liability for broken parts, bad installations, general malaise etc. YOU ARE ON YOUR OWN!
