SRS Light

I had to replace the cruise control switch, and now the SRS light is on, and will not go away. I checked all connections to the wheel bag, and it looks ok. Anybody have any ideas?

Probably wires to the steering wheel airbag messed up. Please keep in mind that normally even after you disconnect the car's battery - airbag system have a battery backup good for 10 minutes may be more on SLK.
Also usually airbag light flashes the error code pattern when you turn your car on.
Either take it to dealer or do lots of research before messing with it.
