When I see the interior of a beautiful car ripped out like that it gives me a queasy feeling. Is it worth it?

It is an all or nothing event. There is no real half-way.

When you want the best possible quality and integration, it is worth it in the end.

The best senario is factory installed. Very few people have the option to retrofit a system. Most dealers and audio shops would state "it can't be done". I applaud your efforts.

This idea of NEVER was destroyed by Steve. In Australia it can take up to 9 months to get the correct car built to order or you can buy whatever and just add the options.

Considering the 20" rims and custom suspension work also on the car I think that the owner was open minded and seems to appreciate the iPOD system more than most.

Its must be pretty annoying to buy a car and have no decent music. The COMAND option is dictated by the iPOD kit and unlike the USA the car is not prewired.
