I think that the '06s either had 2 different appearance packages or a different appearance package from the '07s.

The car in the pics definitely does not have the 17" twin spoke alloys...

2006 SLK's did not have a Premium III package, or at least they didn't when I bought my 2006 SLK 280 in October 2005. There were other packages that had parts of the 2007 Premium III package.

my slk comes with all the options except sports package, cd changer, and mobile phone kit. the original msrp = $55k.
this car has everything in Premium III package. i added a motion sensor thru steve@MBenzNL.com, steve is well known in the mb industry for installing extras in mb, he travels around the world to do installation. i added ipod integration thru octane, randy the owner of octane used to be the tech floor manager for many years at the sfo mb service center. also added the plexiglass. the rim is stock...
