2002 SLK 320 Silver with AMG exterior package, black & BLUE leather interior
what was your the base cost (minus options/taxes, etc.) -- and what was your total cost after options, taxes, etc.?

See if the dealer will confirm a paint code and option prices.
What color silver did he promise you? The currently available Brillliant Silver or the replacement Iridium Silver that has replaced Brilliant Silver on the R171 SLK 's now being sold in Europe?
Unless the dealer can confirm a paint code number and option numbers and prices I suspect his estimated arrival date may be equally vaporous.

We went over the base price of the car, and for now the estimate was around the $60,000 mark. I have 2 weeks to decide on the color, and I am debating between Black or Iridium Silver.
However, the AMG already comes with just about everything, so I don't think that may options will have to be added. I will sit down with the dealer in the next couple weeks and we will go over the color, and any/all options I can add on to the car.
I am looking at about $70,000 after taxes, etc...
What do you guys think about the color? Black or Iridium Silver?

Hey "mercedes" nice to see someone else from Orlando...
Neil was the guy who told me about the AMG being available in 3 months...
Do you know about the new Mercedes dealership opening by Millenia Mall? I'm sure you should have received some kind of notice in the mail... Well anyway, I called the number on that card, and spoke to "Tony" who I talked to a few minutes on the phone, and will go meet in about 10 days at the Grand Opening...
He told me the same thing about the 3-month delivery, but on the 350's. I think that "Neil" had thought I wanted a 350, which I don't. Tony told me that the 55 AMG will be shipping in October, which I have no problem to wait til.
