SLK/R171: Slk 200 won't lock

Slk 200 won't lock
Hi guys I hope somebody can shed some light on my situation I have a 2001 mercedes slk for some reason my central locking won't lock with the fob I have made sure the pump is working fine as it will lock from inside the car with the button on the dashboard however it won't lock or unlock with the fob . The fob is talking to the car as the ligjts flash when the buttons are pressed but the locks do not move up and down .
Also if the hazard lights are switched on in the car the fob works fine and all doors lock and unlock I am very confused please if anybody knows what's going on it would be greatly appreciated cheers guys

Problem found
I will leave this post here just in case anybody else has the same problem I have found what was wrong fuse 9 had blown which controls interior lights alarm plus other stuff ha ha and this was the culprit to my problem
