SLK 350 fog light 2005
tried to help out a neighbor and ended up in trouble.
Needed to replace fog light left side. Ordered one from Hella but they sent me the wrong one.
Finally got the right one but missing the part on the back that the electrical wiring connects to.
went to MB dealer and they said the light should have this other piece with the new light.
Now I am totally crazy and just ordered a complete new assembly from MB to the tune of almost $ 200.
now i need the cover grill that i was quoted over $ 225 from MB. Can not find this part on line anywhere.
Any help ? MB # 1718850153.
MB now tells me the part i need is # 230 540 38 05 and IS available seperately from the fog light. Still need the cover grill # 1718850153
