Buy 2012 SLk350 with 95k KM or Wait for Later Model Years?

Hi all,

Please help me! I'm looking at a 2012 SLK350 with 95500 KM for about $29k CAD with no accidents.

The 2012 SLK seems to have lots of problems from the factory, so are those problems rare problems that only occur on some units?
Should I wait for a new model year like 2014 or 2015 so MB would have fixed the common problems on the older model years?
What tests should I run or what things should I look for when I'm test driving it?

Thanks for your help!

Lee

I would look for one with less mileage. I just bought a 2012 SLK 350 with only 610 miles on it. Keep looking and you will find the perfect car, and the hunt is a source of a lot of fun.

I purchased a CPO 2012 SLK350 w/ 40k mi on it last year for $28k USD. It's the most fun car ownership experience I've ever had. It's my wife's daily as she has a short commute. We love it so much. It's at 50k now after a year, multiple road trips, and we've had no issues.

I do know that the glass part of the roof was replaced before we purchased it due to a MB manufacturing defect which was later resolved.
