17" Wheels wanted
Well, I see that MB offers 17" wheels for the SLK55 AMG. I have 18" and want 17" wheels. The MB option costs $1,260 (set of four).
Does anyone have any GOOD 17" wheels -- MB, AMG, or otherwise -- that they'd like to swap for my 18" AMGs with Pirelli PZero Rossos? Wheels/tires have 200 mi. on them, about 10 days old. I don't want cheap wheels. Thanx!

I've got three sets of 17's, see which one you're interested:
1. AMG Style IV (C32 wheels)
2. MB OEM SLK350 wheels
3. MB OEM C230 sport sedan wheels
All 17x7.5/17x8.5, No. 2 and No. 3 have 225/45/17 and 245/40/17 tires. The AMG wheels are brand new with no tires.

Thanx for everyone's replies. I decided to get new wheels/tires from Tire Rack. I got the AMG type 203, 5-spoke (split spoke) wheels and Pilot Sport SP2 tires. Tire Rack was very good to work with and I was able to confirm for them the proper fit of wheels for this car (they haven't had a chance to get one in their shop). I should have them this week and will have my 19" wheels for sale.

I received and installed the 17" AMG 203 wheels (split spoke) and Michelin PS-2 tires (225/45 front, 245/40 rear). They fit fine. They're the same wheels on my '04 C32. I believe the ride is less harsh but I have no way of quantifying this.
I bought them from Tire Rack (salesman Damon). They were great to deal with! I ordered them Monday and they arrived today. Now if I can just confirm the right pressure and torque (see other posts)!
