2006 SLK 55

2006 SLK 55 availability date?

I'm torn between ordering a 2005 model vs waiting a few months and getting the 2006 model. What is the usual cutoff date for ordering this model? When would MB release the 2006 model info and begin taking orders? Would it be likely that the 2006 would have better build quality?

I appreciate any insight!

I heard that the orders will go into the system starting sometime in June, would look at earliest availability in August (maybe September).

Yes, I would appreciate any info on this as well. I just placed my order yesterday and they gave me a build date for May 10th. Will my car be an '05 model? If I was told that if I only waited one month and I would be getting an '06 model, I'd do it (even if they have a price increase).

Any info would be appreciated.
