Body kit
I posted a similar question in the regular R171 forum but it's pretty dead over there. Have any of you guys dabbled in body kits? www.mercedespartssuperstore.com quoted me about $2800 to convert a regular SLK350 into the sport package look. I dunno if it might make more sense to just go for something aftermarket. What do you think?

Yeah, their site kinda sucks...I had to email them directly to find out about it. Apparantly to convert to the sport package look on the front, I will need
1) Bumper Cover 2) Both fog lamps 3) All the three bottom mesh grilles 4) Upper grille 5) Two support brkts on the inner bumper.
For the rear all I need is the bumper.

Really? Cool, I'm waiting for a quote from this guy on the forum related to MBenzNL and another from the dealer. Hopefully I can get it ordered and in hand by early next week.

I taped it up with blue painters tape to drive about 800 miles so here's all I can offer for now 
Also, that price doesn't include the side skirts. I'm not sure about what parts are needed for the sides since they were installed accidentally by another body shop lol.
