Hi guys, I loved, love, and will still love my SLK 55
but anybody seen the new Ferrari California?
its ferrari's new drop top convertible
hardtop too just like our SLKs
ive actually place an order for a F430 due next year but now i might go for the new California (hate the name btw)
neways, anybody feeling interested in upgradeing their cars for a better hardtop folding 460hp car that does 0-60 in 4sec.?
just want to chat.....dun flame me

These cars are so different that its pointless to compare them. Ferrari California is an SL65 competitor, its in a totally different price level than SLK55. You can buy three SLK55's for the price of one Ferrari California. I doubt any buyer would be considering both cars...

wow how can some1 consider that ugly car , california , is the ugliest thing i've seen it looks not any better than that new saturn conv. 200 000 id rather spend on lp560-40 the hottest car , or sl65 bs , or even sl65 regular , if your looking to get a 430 then go for it , the callifornia will just get no love , sorry just my opinion

California is the first Ferrari for "Chicks" ,IMHO.
Get the 430.

I read somewhere that the California is using the Maserati V8, so around 405bhp for an MSRP of 120K? You can get better performing car for that much money. For the time being, stick with your SLK, it's still a very unique car.
