First V8, slk 55, what to look for?? Newbie

Evening Guys and gals, I’m looking to buy a 55’ this month. I am looking at a potential in Sunday. Apart from checking the roof and boot for damp, what else should I be looking for? Car is 2005 and done 80k going for 15 grand

also does anyone know the width with mirrors folded in ? Just need to measure for my garage.
