List Your SLK55's **BUILD DATE**
Lets all list our SLK55's Build date--see when MB was building these great new toys of ours!! The build date is listed on the inside drivers door sill.
Mine--Black on Black--Build date 07/04.

SLK 55 AMG
My build date is 11/04. I took delivery of the car up in Houston on 11/26 (saw the car at the dealership on 11/24). It's incredible that the car could be built in Germany, shipped across the Atlantic, and shipped from Florida to Houston in just a couple of weeks.

Mine is 11/04. I took delivery on 19 nov 04. Ours must have been on the same boat CP1.

2005 SLK55 AMG
My build date is scheduled for the last 10 days of
February '05 and expect the car in March/April. I'm
currently at B3 status so I know I'm close. With the
weather here in Reno-Tahoe it would be in the garage anyway, but come spring I should be on the road-YEA!

Anyone out there with a build date earlier than mine 07/04 ???? I have a feeling mine may have been one of the first built- and perhaps a test car since it had milage on it at purchase.
