The end is in sight with my arrival date. Help with wheels also1

Scheduled to arrive at dealership on April 1st. I was expecting late summer.

Iridium Silver
Black Interior
Lighting
Entertainment with Nav
Premium
Airscarf

Now to shop for aftermarket wheels. As much as I would like 19 inch wheels, I would rather stick to 18 inch and save the weight and costs. Has anyone upgraded to aftermarket 18 inch wheels? I prefer the deep dish look as it give the car a wider and more aggressive look. I also prefer a simple 5 spoke look as they are much easier to clean and enhance the AMG calipers.

At first glance, tire rack and many other websites do not even list the SLK 55 as an option. Would it be safe to assume that if a set of wheels fit on a SL55, they will also fit on the SLK 55?

Cheers!

Not really, different offsets, different hardware.

Please send me an e-mail: harris@hartonmotorwerks.com, hopefully I can help you make an easier decision.

Congratulations yeh, simple 5-spoke is always the 1st choice more LIP more LIP more LIP - then you need to go for CUSTOMIZED wheels HOWEVER, 19" wheels sometimes can be lighter than stock 18" OEM wheels, especially the forged ones or the ones made in Japan. Costwise, of course 18" is more economic on both wheels and tires.

Well, go for HRE, it offers customized wheels with big lip & costwise, these get my vote (Japan made) - personally I am in favor of Black wheels with machine lip:
