Took the SLS to the strip
Went to a great drag day this weekend (streetcardrags) and since I'm recovering from surgery (cant wear a helmet) I didn't expect to run my car, I just went to support my friends and check out the Mclarens and GTR's battle it out. To my surprise they were letting the helmet rule slide. Unfortunately, by the time I realized it i only had time for one run. I quickly brought the car to the line and threw on RS and pulled a 11.57 @ 120mph. I was pretty happy with the time given the more than half a tank of gas, trunk full of stuff and cold street tires.
I think it shocked a few people as well
Other notable times:
Forum member Abidaz (Adrien) ran 11.4 in his tuned M6
AMS tuned Mclaren 12C ran a 10.15!!
Mclaren 650s ran a 10.8
A few 991 turbo's running mid 10's
New hellcat blew the tires off and ran a 17, lol
Tesla P85D ran 11.6 new record I'm told
Stock Aventador 50th anniversary ran a 10.7
And of course there were GTR's running high 9's and 10's
There were three other AMG's two E63's and one CLA45 than ran 12.4
I think it shocked a few people as well

If I remember correctly, if you get into the 10s, you need a roll cage in your car at many drag strips. 11.57 @ 120 mph is fast!
Ive played with RS and it's cool. It took me a few tries to get it to work right.

That is awesome! I had a similar experience in shock value, recently I also ran a 11.49 consistently which surprised a lot of people including myself. nice representation!
