SLS/R197/C197 AMG: matte SLS AMG & Dr. Beasley's
I "cleaned" the car and wheels with brand new micro fibers and 50/50 mix water and alcohol to remove any oils. I used a misting bottle to apply a perfect even coat of water on the finish. (see sealant instructions). I used a yellow foam applicator, applied in strokes in circles, back and forth and up and down to insure maximum coverage. I did each section one at a time and broke the hood into 3 sections. I felt I probably used more sealant then recommended but, there was no streaking at all. You could tell there was product being applied as it felt and looked like a pretty transparent/very light hand lotion.
The paint came out PERFECT! I will be keeping an eye out on the long term durability as I will drive the car often. If you have a matte finish on your SLS, give Dr. Beasley's a try.
Took the Mrs. on an over-niter, valeted the car at the hotel and sure enough next morning it got sprinklered! We all know how bad that can be. Plus, I had to let it sit and bake in the sun for 5 hours while I played golf. So after a hour dive home, it was time to test out the Matte Final Finish.
Game, Set, Match... as in water spots were no match for Dr. Beasley's. What you see in the photo's is ONE wipe. Off they went. Nice!!
