Dreaded SLS gearbox leak...
Hi all,
My sls gearbox is leaking oil from the weep hole. My car is a late 2010 SLS so a early build. I have been getting a TCU fault code but thought it was due to the car having a replacement wiring loom.
Is there a repair kit that can be bought? I cannot find much online, just MB dealer and specialists quoting for replacements. I have a very good mechanic who deals with all my cars who can easily do this for me, just struggling to find a repair kit online.
Can a AMG GT/GTS gearbox fit straight onto my SLS? I can get a gearbox from a 2017 AMG GT locally at quite a good price. I know it runs the same getrag DCT box, but wondering if its a simple replacement?
