The Skip Barber "OEM Program" is just more of the same. Nov 7-8 is the AMG Academy Stage II.

1st opinion of SLS

Drove the SL63 down to Laguna Seca yesterday and viewed the SLS's in person. Quite impressive but the entry and getting out of the car was quite unusual. Even hit my head on the door while exiting. Am quite sure the car will be a keeper for those who can afford the $250,000 price.

I was fortunate enough to partake in the AMG Driving Academy and had a healthy amount of seat time in several of the SLS cars at Laguna Seca. They don't have a hammered-down price for the SLS at this time for the US (according to the AMG Program Manager), so that $250k number is a ballpark or a guess from what I can tell.

However, let there be no mistake. What a car! I'm 6'6" and definitely had some in/out issues (in fact, the MB Videographer was filming me while saying "I have to get a picture of you cramming in there") with the fitment. I didn't let it stop me in any way.

whoa... a simple post and so many responses and links. My apologies for not doing the search first, that was stupid of me. Thanks for all the pointers, though!
