Not really accurate, my SLS BS got shuffled around from dealer to dealer for 8 months before it found a buyer. There is one on DuPont Registry right now for $310K. The 4 or 5 of them that are listed on Cars.com for $400-$480k have been listed forever.

Hmm, the 1 on DuPont is a Russo&Steele car that doesn't list mileage, mods, or pricing. Is that the one you speak of for $310k?

When we're talking $4-500k car, the pool of buyers at that level is pretty small. No surprise that they take a while to sell.

In your case, it probably didn't help that it was modded to the moon. I don't pretend to speak for everyone but I personally look for cars that are as stock as possible.

The 1 SLS BS on DuPont was auctioned last week in Monterey by Russo & Steele. Final price out the door was $418k.

If there's a legit (no stories) SLS BS in the market for $310k, please post it up.

Dealer who sold me my yellow SLS BS just called me and offered $425K and I declined (I have 900 miles on mine). Only 3 for sale remain on the open US market out of a total of 132 imported. A large number has been reexported to S. America and the Persian Gulf where the prices are much much higher.

If anyone is looking for a SLS Gullwing with *Carbon Ceramic Brakes* - then it looks like Jake's Motorcars has a 2012 inbound with CCBs and an asking price of $195k. They haven't posted up pics yet, just the placeholder pic and a note about the CCBs.

Jake's is a short drive from my house. If you're a serious buyer and want someone to put eyes on the car for you - just let me know.

They're always so fast (and good) with the photos. It's weird (to me) that someone would spec the CCBs and then literally nothing else (I don't count uncharges for paint and interior choice).

CCB isn't too hard of an upgrade if you didn't buy it stock like that. Just dang pricey!

Here's one just listed with *every option* for a screaming deal of $184k. Look before you leap however...get the CarFax and AutoCheck on this car. Priced way too low IMHO, might have a story.

I would agree....too cheap. However, Daytona blue does not bring a premium and the miles don't help either.

Yep. If one looks close at the sticker that was a "paint to sample" shade of blue. 1 of 1 for sure. The blue isn't my favorite color for a SLS but the rarity makes it tempting.

Well, my wife and I originally went to the dealership to buy her a new car and we walked away with two including this one.

It was just too nice to pass up, 1,600 miles. I've forgotten what a big V8 feels and sounds like!

I'll snap some more photos when it comes out of the garage next week for a cars and coffee show!

They say timing is everything - we had just arrived as they were bringing the SLS into the cleaning bay, hadn't even reached the floor yet :-). It's a car on both my wife's and mine top 10 list so into the garage it went :-).

Getting insurance on it in Massachusetts has been the biggest ordeal.....
