SLS Roadster Electric Seats dumb question...
Greetings all,
I have had my car for about one month and loving every minute. But, dang if I can get the seat adjusted into the most comfortable position. I have never had this problem with any other vehicle even my '13 BoxsterS. I have had it to the dealer and the tech reset the calibration on the "zero point" for the seat. The only aspect he has control over. I'm just a 5'9" guy so I can't imagine what it's like for the taller guys...
Problem: when the fore/aft adjustment and seat height is where I like it I want to recline the seat a bit more. At this position there maybe is still 2" between the seat back and the rear cabin wall so, there is room to recline. However, when I try to recline the seat back the software insists on driving the seat forward which is not ideal for me either. Actually, it needs to go several inches forward to get the recline where I want it to be. I have never seen the seat incline slaved to the fore/aft position.
Is there something this SLS newbie is missing?
