Towing the SLS

The car was not able to start after just an hour of the last drive, everything was fine before that. Anyway, I need to get the car towed to a workshop but they were not able to get the car into neutral gear since it wouldn't start.
Is there a way that anybody here know that how can I get it into free gear and so we can move the car? Tried the manual, it says start the car and put it in N but the car wouldn't even start.
Appreciate the help in advance!

Cheers!

I think the only way is to connect jumper cables then shift to N and proceed with towing adventure.

Gonna have to put dollies under the wheels and pull it up onto the flatbed. Shouldn't be new to a competent tow truck operator, would be the same if you needed to move a 4wd car that can't be flat towed.

That makes a lot of sense, lol.
What about when it got to the workshop and needed to be jacked up to see what went wrong.
Sorry for the silly questions, but that aside, what could be causing the problem, we tried jump starting with everything and it just wouldn't start (but it was fine an hour ago before it died).

Nice car btw! How often do you drive the car? Do you keep it on a battery tender? Don't get in it without a cell phone as some have gotten locked in with a dead/flat battery... See other recent thread here.

We move them in the workshop the same way, with dollies under the wheels (all 4 if needed) and a power pusher or a couple mechanics depending on the situation. You can roll the car onto the lift like that if you need.

Yes, I saw the thread and I have only just found out the existence of trickle charger! 😂 Been telling the mechanics not to get stuck in there.
