Charging phone
Hey everyone!
I just bought a 2011 SLS. Absolutely love the car, I'm downright addicted to it.
I want to figure out a more elegant solution to charging my phone than using an adapter into the cigarette lighter in the center console. I just ordered that bluetooth audio ipod connector adaptor for the glovebox, so I only need power for the phone.
Has anyone figured out a way to run a charging cable into the center storage / cupholder area? If at all possible I'd like to avoid visible wires.
Alternatively, my iPhone X works with Qi charging mats / mounts. Does anyone have one they like? I've seen ones that clip onto air vents, but I'd prefer something that looks more like it was right from the factory. I've even thought about building a custom mount to replace the front part of the center armrest (not sure what to call that). That would be a pretty ideal place to dock / charge a phone.
