High Mileage SLS Gullwing
Hi AMG SPECIALISTS!
I am in the process of assessing a high mileage SLS Gullwing and wanted to know what your opinions were regarding purchasing this vehicle, please keep the following in mind:
1. I am the owner of a garage will be able to conduct service/repair and a much lower cost.
2. Access to parts (new/used/salvage) etc.
3. Planning to keep this as a long term investment (might drive about 10,000kms a year)
Now for the vehicle details:
Year: 2011
Model: SLS AMG
Mileage: 205,000KMS
Spec: GCC
Accident History: Minor Accidents 3 with some repainted panels
Owner History: 2 Owner Vehicle
Warranty: No
Price Offered: 39,000$ - 45,000$
"I test drove the vehicle, found the steering, brakes and gear shifts smooth. But there was vibration when throttling dont know if that is normal or not."
Hoping you guys will give me some valuable feedback & what i can expect to break at this mileage level.
Best Regards,
Chirenj Chandran

That seems awfully cheap, although I've heard that cars in the ME are generally offered a reduced pricing vs. U.S. or Euro cars. As for the vibration I wouldn't go so far as to make a diagnosis as I'm not a tech of any note, but if it were me looking at my own car (2012 SLS coupe) I'd start by checking on the torque tube, all associated mounting fasteners, etc.

Sounds like a fun driver as long as you can take care of it. Post up some pics if you get it!

Sounds too cheap
Did you end up purchasing? Even with so many miles really seems too cheap. I'd be concerned there is something wrong. What country is this in? May be I need to import another car.
