FREE Online smart owner's manual
For anyone interested in what makes the smart tick, the full owner's manual and other documents regarding the smart coupé and cabriolet can be seen/printed in .pdf format at:

www.smart.com

Choose the british flag (e), then wait for the menu to appear at the top of the screen...be patient if you're on dialup...choose "web specials" and its sub-menu "downloads". A list of .pdf documents (corresponding to chapters in the smart owner's manual) appears. The whole thing is well over 250 pages!
