New steeringwheel but no buttom light

regarding my MB S204 c180 1.6 kompressor
a couple of months ago i changed the steeringwheel to a facelift steeringwheel everything went well and everything worked as it should but lately i thought that something was wrong cause i had no light in my buttoms
are there anyone who had the same problem as I do and whats the solution?
