COSTA RICA?
Been thinking about a trip to Costa Rica just to check the place out. Hear it's a friendly place to visit with lots of things to do. Looking to do some diving, relaxing and shopping if there's anything to buy. Also hear it's a good place to stock up on prescriptions at fantastic savings over US prices.
Any recomendations or suggestions? |

wow old thread.
been to Costa Rica twice. 1st time in 99 for two and half weeks. no kids yet. last year for a month took my teens and wife down there. Rented a house on the beach in Playa Grande. good times. |
depending on where you are planning on going - you can also fly into Liberia. for us here in Socal - we have direct flights from LAX to Liberia.
surfed and played tennis the whole time. https://cimg5.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.mbw...13ade9c3e6.jpghttps://cimg6.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.mbw...5a1e723baa.jpg |
One of my old business partners had planned to retire to Costa Rica. The cost of living is low, rule of law is mostly stable and there is a large expat community. He was all set then his granddaughter had a baby and his wife was all involved in caring for the little one and did not want to leave the country. We sold our company and he went back into his consulting business for now.
