`Your moment is waiting’
It is celebration time for Kerala tourism. An influx of millions of tourists every year, a tremendous increase in the revenue generated from tourism sector, an unprecedented growth of kerala ayurveda tourism– the reasons to celebrate are many.
The Tourism Department of Kerala recently launched a high-profile publicity campaign which kicked off from London. The event was attended by many national and international celebrities. Soccer star Didier Drogba, Industrialist and Labour leader Swaraj Paul, actor Mohanlal et al attended the function. Kerala tourism’s new ad-film `Your moment is Waiting’ was also premiered during the event.
Renowned ad-maker Prakash Varma directed the three-minute film and it has a foreigner, Swedish model Miriam Ilorah, in the lead. Her experiences in Kerala is shot with such innovation and creativity that you will just fall in love with the land that offers so much magical moments.Kerala’s landscape, wildlife, its culture and art forms etc find a mention in the commercial and it is surely capable of luring prospective tourists to Kerala. The campaign in its first phase aims to attract people from the U.K., France, Germany and the U.S., apart from the domestic tourists. Innovative mobile and i-pod campaigns have also been incorporated and these initiatives are expected to bring in more tourists to God’s Own Country.
