V250 gear stucked in P
 

I was in my 2016, 15000km V250 travelling 900km overnight. I had after 850km highway and further 50km national road a red light. I pushed "P" for parking.
a few moments I got green light and I pushed break pedal and moved gear-changer down.
nothing happend.
only the growing rush hour morning traffic "beeped" me. I called 112 (US 911) and later Mercedes assistance, who promised to come within the hour. Police arrived to "protect my car"/ block the street. The police decided to call emergency tow car, which came a few minutes later.
my car and i was transported to the local MB garage where they updated the computer software for engine, gearbox and cooling system.
i got a loaner B-class for 2 hours to pickup a few things without costs.
going back to my local garage 1000km away I requested a thorow check, they used 1 hour, so I paid for the loaner. also here they updated 3 software items (engine, gear and cooler).
as far as I know no change of gear stick, where I suggested a "loose connection" might be.
Many of you had a similar problem with 7-gear-stick?
btw consumption is a bit higher after software update, but that is another issue.
