Well, you have the same feeling I had when I just joined this forum. W210 will soon be forgotten and W211 will soon be like W210 now when W212 is in, unless members don't like W212 - either performance wise or appearance wise.
It's always the case.... but ppl here are quite nice. W210 owners who are still here are mostly not as active as W211 owners.

210 55
I own a 00e55 and to me the 210 body style is more attractive compared to the newer Honda Accord looking 211 series. The 211 is nice looking only because when I look at it I also think about that huffer under the hood.
My e55 is Silver colored and has been entirely professionally hand wet sanded then totally buffed out with two tone charcoal/silver interior, rare avantgarte series option package, monochrome grille, and custom exhaust system. It is a great car and I have had no problems to speak of for just over 50,000 miles.

E55 (for sale if the right offer comes along)...too many others to list
Brad and James you both need to get to the track and put up some numbers! The 210 can still own a 211. :v Are we still doing that day in November with the other guys? We should talk to Simon to see if we can just rent it for the day and split the price.
Brad,
I heard you got your car back yesterday. Congrats!
James,
Post some dyno stuff for us.

2000 Silver E55
I agree with this post! I own a 2000 E55 and have a very hard time finding posts about the W210's. I would say that 90% of the posts are on the W211's. I would also like it if there was a seperate forum just about the W210's. I also agree on what another member posted earlier regarding the W211. Before I say anything about the styling of the 211, I must first make one thing very clear: Would I buy a W211 if I could afford it YES! With that said I must agree that the styling on the W211's is not the greatest and I honestly like the W210's much better (looks). Obviously the power does not compare and that is why I am not trying to talk bad about a car that I wish I had.

I prefer the 210 e55's and i vote that f55 and a couple other huffed 210 owners call out the 211's on this board and whoop some heavier 211 *** to earn us some respect!

Something for us...
Supporting our W210 (sub)community of E55's...
Site below is a dealer in Texas -- I bought their black birdseye maple shift knob for $50 (sale) -- made by Schatz in Germany, fits great and gave me the look I wanted.
Thought I'd pass on the sale:

No affliliation, just a happy customer...
Enjoy!
