Speed Tuning USA - Dyno for 55 engine

Any comments? I was considering this for my cls55. Has anyone here done this ECU Tune for their engine? I'm stock and planning to add a pulley later this year.

A few comments. First, the dyno graph looks "odd". It just isn't the typical HP curve we get. Also, the baseline is a bit low and the post flash a bit high. Just makes me wonder how the study was run.

Second, not all 55K motors are the same. Mine is an '06 built in '06 and I do not believe that there is yet a good ECU tune for that. If your CLS is also newer, be careful.
Ask them what the details are on the one they posted. What MY was it, etc.

Last thing, i say either get your hardware first, or make sure you can go back and reprogram it after. The ECU changes will only give you significant gains if they are set based on the hardware. To do the ECU before the pulley is almost silly.

make sure you do dyno before ECU upgrade with A/F ratio... I'm getting ready to do ECU with Renntech and will do dynos before and after on my W210 AMG, just remember you get what you pay for... hope I'm wrong

Ecu alone won't gain you anything except a crisper throttle response.

Lots of dyno's around. A CL600, a E63, and I want to get dyno'd soon. I'll let you know when/where we decide to go.

Where did you get that information, obviously not from smeone who does ECU work. All of my cars have had ECU tunes and there are noticable gains in hp/torque. I've enjoyed this so much with my cars and my friends that I have bought an automotive software company just for this purpose. Don't sell it short.
