Driver's Seat Position Problems
 

So my driver seat won't move backward using the door controls. If my wife drives it (I know, I can hear it now . . . . "My wife drives it"???) and moves it forward, it will come back to my setting using the green memory button. So basically we know the motor and mechanism work for moving it backward. As I recall this happened once a few years ago and it somehow came back. It is a 2000 E55 (bought it new in Oct 99).

Is this as simple as a fuse reset or something? Anyone else have similar problems? Any fixes?

hooked up OBDII and cleared all trouble codes including the seat malfunction and suddenly seat WORKS!!!! Kinda scary when you think about the fact that some erroneous error code in the ECU causes something to stop working correctly. Very Strange, but problem seems to be solved :).
