Front wheel hanging off!!!!!!

Front wheel hanging off!!!!!!
Erm slight problem.....
Whilst driving back from the shops today around 65-70mph took a left hand bend and the car just shot across the other lane and missed an oncoming car by 6-7 inches
...then the front drivers side (right side) wheel was making a hell of a clanging sound. Pulled over and the front wheel was at an angle with the top of the wheel pushed into the car at around a 45 degree angle, i jacked the car up and the wheel sprang back into place but is still at a slight angle....cant really drive it anywhere as it still makes a clanging noise when turning and going over a small bump in the road!
Before all this happened the car was making a whirring sound as if a bearing was gone, also when braking its been pulling right slightly.
Got the AA to tow me back home today and need the car back on the road asap for work!
Any ideas????

That is downright ****ing scary!! I am glad that you nor anyone else was injured. I wish I knew what happened. Keep us posted. I would like to get my own car checked out for whatever it is that happened to your.
