Does anyone know where I can get a good set of cross drilled rotors (front and rear) for a 2000 E55 AMG?

I have a set. I got them from Peter. You might want to PM him to see the company that he got them from.

They are factory AMG rotors that have been cross-drilled and slotted by an aftermarket company.

I sold the set had had already. You can buy them here http://brakeperformance.com/site/bra...0408&ad=google
They don't list the price for the front for some reason. I think it to expensive or they can't get them anymore. Either way I'm sure they can get it for you but it will be expensive for the 2-piece rotor.

+1. Those are great looking rims. Not too flashy, nice MB quality look. I think they would look awesome in black with a chrome lip!

I'm surprise the front doesn't rub the inner suspension bolt since you gain 1" overall diameter.

Nice Wheel

No rub at all. There is slight rubbing at the rear when I have all 5 passengers. Otherwise, its smooth as silk.

Thanks for the compliments, gents!

I used H&R Springs and I cut another 1/2 inch - ride is smooth but can be a bit rough when I have 4 + passengers - but I wanted to get the "VIP Look".

This is how it looked like STOCK:

nice wheels

Take some more pics of the wheels at different angles so we can see the lips.

where did you buy them from, I gave up looking for them last year. Not even on Moven's website anymore.

Thumbs up

You can find slotted drilled rotor at Irotor. I put them on my 2001 E55 after burning 2 fronts disk at the race track. These are made from Amg standard disk that are modified. They perform very well after 2 more track event (no crack) with EBC yellow stuff pad.

If you paid me to put those on my car, I wouldn't.

Why not pay extra and do it right the first time.

www.frozenrotors.com (they offer slotted, but can drill if asked)

I just bought a whole set, along with Akebono ceramic pads.

I will get the Irotor parts number back home this weekend. Pricing and availability is better than at frozen rotor. I search in many places to find them. You have front and rear disc available. If they resist to 2 hour at Mont-Tremblant race track, I can't find a road to push them farther. In fact, you will need compound tire to use really the breaking power generated. Don't forget to change the hose for stainless steel and oil for sure.

Keywords being pricing and availability.

Never saw quality.

when i had my W210 E55, I put C55 rotors and callipers on it. I needed spacers to make the callipers fit and had 19in SSR GT3 wheels. Looks really good in my opinion and also saved some weight over the stock e55 callipers. made it look much nicer with such an open wheel design as the SSRs had

I like the C55 Idea. Where did you buy them? Oh and where the spacers hard to find?

I had a local shop I know here in Boston do it that I trust. Not sure where the parts were from but anyone that sells the OEM parts should have them. i was charged $1100 installed - new rotors, new pads, and new callipers. Callipers are expensive keep in mind. the C55 callipers are much nicer looking that than the W210 E55 callipers.

Spacers you may or may not need. For the SSR GT3 wheels, I needed them. For other wheels you may not need them.
