Jacking points - W210 E55

I didn't see any jackplates or jackpads for the W210 chassis on the various vendors sites....is there a site that shows the recommended jackpoints? Need to change my wheels/tires....I'm using the pad under the car in line with the jack insert slot but I'm not sure this is correct.

There should be 4 round rubber pads on each corner by where you have that air jack. You can't miss it unless your is missing

This is correct.

Very odd jack, though. Just make sure it isn't too wide/large, or it can put too much pressure on the side skirt.

i like your jack and yes you have it positioned where the jacking points are. maybe push it in more(towards the center/exhaust) so it wont grab the sideskirt as much.

Where did you get that jack? How high does it go?

I brought this one in from Esco (I sell their jackstands) to evaluate. I like the small footprint but it really doesn't go high enough (max 11").

I normally use a lift or a DK13 jack (see below) but the Esco air jack was handy and is easier to position under the jacking point.

AC Hydraulics is no longer being brought to the US...the DK13HLQ is the best low profile jack I ever seen and many of us were fortunate to buy them between 2000-2008. They can be imported out of Canada ($750-900) or you can find some cheap Chinese copies online between $200-300.

This jack had a long reach under lowered cars....height stayed under 4" for 16" of reach. SD

I love that jack too , too bad they are no longer available in the states. I just looked them up at a place called asedeals.com , apparently they used to import them ... seeing the specs of the jack, the DK13HLQ it is rated for 2900 lbs. is that OK for our cars? it seems a little low for me... what is a good safe weight rating to get for our cars? The place above seem to have a couple of alternative options for the DK13HLQ , by Omega and ranger .. after seeing this post I have always wanted to good jack.

Do yourself a favor and buy an oil extractor and do it from topside. It siphons the oil out through the dipstick hole. That way you don't have to get under the car and mess with taking the lower engine cover off. I bought mine from Summit Racing for $60 and I've already used it about 10 times (between my 210 and my boat). Worth every penny.
