Battery ECU Reset with the fuse?

Battery ECU Reset with the fuse?
So I am a bit intrigued by the suggestion that a two minute battery-disconnect reset is even more effective for performance than a soft ECU reset.
Would pulling the fuse to the ECU accomplish the same without powering down the whole car?

and yes disconnecting the battery and re-connecting resets all the values. The last time I disconnected the battery, my car almost took off on the highway
and a few days later it was still beastly but not as............beastly I run the soft ecu trick once a week sometimes every few days. Once you sit in traffic it's all over. Don't get me wrong she will still run hard but I like to have my shift points high.

I just disconnected my battery today. I was trying to fix my PSE since my phone and CD changer were dead. My friend told me that a master reset my help. After reconnecting the battery, I crawled into the trunk and looked at the upgrade PSE (compatible with the blue-tooth puck) and it was disconnected... Go figure. anyway I connected the PSE and everything is fixed!
btw, uplugging the battery definitely helped with the performance.
