W210 amg BAS issue

1997 E55 AMG
W210 amg BAS issue
Got an issue with my 1997 E55AMG... story short...
during an acceleration one day the engine "died" went into emergency mode only running on idle ! the BAS light came on and it was if the accelerator just malfunctioned ! nothing happened ! well, turned off engine, started again and it worked fine ! well, that was until the next time i used the gas pedal just a bit more than ultra gentle, same thing happened, BAS light on, engine idle only...
Next day i took the car to my mechanic, all he could tell me was that it didnīt get connection between the ABS & head unit ! found a company in germany that should be able to check these boxes, but they unfortunately said they were not able to help me with this issue
Now... are there any of you fine ppl that have ANY idea what could cause this issue ? ( the car now starts up revving to approx. 3-3500 rpm, then stalls and can only be driven at idle... 20 km/h then shut off at 21 km/h ) seems my mechanic + the company i hoped could find the issue have both throwed the towel in the ring so i have no clue to what to do atm !!!

Welcome to the Board,,
there is no 97 E55, you may have E50..!,,
ABS/BAS light on, could happen by several reasons:
1) ABS/BAS fuse or Relay damaged
2) ABS/BAS need to be reset through the ESP module
3) Brake light switch not working properly
4) Speed sensors culprit or not reads the rotation properly, during the different wheels size
