Considering a 2002 E55 with 69,000 miles
I'm looking at this car being sold locally by a private seller. Basically a 2-owner car, appears near mint. Gray with black interior. Asking price is $12,500.
The seller took it to the local MB dealer late last week for a check and the mechanic stated the pads and discs needed to be replaced on all four corners. Also, rear tires. Total for both before tax is about $2,400. I believe this work was done, given it was at the dealer from Thursday to today. This occurred after the ad and asking price was posted. Technician stated everything else looks excellent with the car. Will confirm all records and service when I look at it on Tuesday evening.
The ad states all scheduled maintenance, local car and new tires (hmm...).
Question: looking at similar threads of cars being considered in this forum, it appears this one is priced quite a bit higher. Is the car worth the premium given the miles and now recent work?
Thank you,
Brad

Many had Comand. Mine did and it had parktronic and ventilated seats. If you pave a phone in the center console than you sould be able to buy a Bluetooth Puck to use your phone.
I paid 22,000 for mine 3 years ago.
If it is nice I would buy it. If you spend 5000 to fix it up it is money well spent. You will love the car!

4 years ago I bought a 2000 with 84K miles for $11K but needed to change tires and brakes ($1800) ==> I sold that one almost 1 year ago.
4 months ago, bought 2002 silver with command Navi with 135K for $8K but spent $2K to fix.
Try to get $11K for that car, it worth it.
