I would get a set of winter wheels to go with the tires, but you want to run 245/40R/18 all the way around. You don't want to run staggered tire size because you don't need wider in the rear for snow.

It's going to cost 1k plus for a descent winter wheel set up, buy a 800-1k beater and save the E55. You can fine plenty of them on Craigslist.
