Need Spring Compressor and LCA Bushing Tool (Chicagoland Area)
I have to replace upper control arms and lower control arm bushings on the E55 and am in need of a proper spring compressor, and possibly a LCA bushing removal tool.
Spring compressor is the most critical. I already have the parts and would really like to tackle the job this weekend.
I only have 3 more weeks to drive my car before it has to be in storage for the winter and I’m leaving the country. Does anyone in the area have the Klann-style spring compressor that they’re willing to loan for a weekend?
I’ll pay in beer or cash, plus I’ll be extremely appreciative. I will drive to you! I can return the tool in less than 48 hours.
Anyone near Chicago (or suburbs) or southern Wisconsin?
