Will your car walk or run from a stock E55? I have a video cam. in my glove box if any documentation is needed.
I would say more like run then walk. I have only had my car for about 3 days and it has been transformed. I drove my car stock for about 16 months so I would think this is a good reference perspective. When you are pumping out more then 100HP and 100 pounds of torque things change

HOLY **** DUDE! i ROAD RACE MINE ALL THE TIME AND HAVE OVER HEATED THE BRAKES AND NEVER HAD THAT HAPPEN YOU MUST HAVE OVER HEATED THE $UCK OUT OF(sorry for caps) THEM! any way I'm alot better now and if you hit all your turning points on the track right this problem will go away. nice story I get the same thing here in portland OR at pir were the champ cars race people **** when i blow past them and after every 1st session all the other guys come over and start asking what the hell is that thing!! My cousin and i both have 55's and when we go out we get a fan crowd! people are amazed at these things, big old boat hauling a$$!

Gid: I would have been there with my Porsche but I was in the Bahama's. Be real careful of the brakes. Putnam is a reasonably high speed track and they might be OK but don't try your car at Gingerman if you want to go hard for 20 minutes, you'll cook the brakes. My rotors were shot with one weekend at Gingerman: bad cracks. And the worst part is, you get no warning other than the lamp but everyone ignores it. . Just don't ignore it for over 4-5 minutes!

My tt gets to 140 into turn 1 on street tires. How fast could you get?

Gid, I have been thinking aboout the gold caliper. Do you think MB engineers designed it to change color when heated just to detect such a type of driving? I believe they would call it abuse, we would call it fun. Just a thought.
