My garage

Just a follow up from my previous thread on garage looks, floor in particular.
We found a tile thats good enough for beasts the tred and roll on. If anyone in Melbourne (doubt it) wants details about the store you can PM me.
And heres some progress pics, tiles are getting laid (be mature) as we speak.

Good boy, sit in the shade while your shack is getting a new floor.

Many boxes of tiles...

Half done, Yeh its a small garage compared to what you guys have.

A Few
Hey Chem,

Looks super nice! Congrats on the new garage... Seems everyone is improving their garage these days, I guess I'm next...

BTW: How did you get those folding mirrors for your W211? Is it an option in "down under", b/c we don't have them here in the states... Only on the S and CL classes...

Yeah its an optional extra, its got the usual button inside and also can be programmed to fold in when you lock your car.

somehow fiddling with the steering wheel buttons, you get into interior light settings and other options that effect the car during shutdown... just make sure the key is turned 2 clicks (one before switching on the engine)... or is it one click? i duno. Anyway you should be able to scroll through seetings with ur phone access buttons

chemo its looking great in there! We're getting renovations up here in sydney and my dad (Rafal) and I want to get the garage tiled for his E55 and my STi but the mum isn't too keen :P We'll keep the forum posted on the progress.

Hopefully we'll be able to turn it into a nice showroom like yours!

*edit* we have the option on the E55 but we disable the fold on lock option because the mirrors squealed so much during folding it was feared they would eventually wear out the paint between the mirror and the rubber seal :|

Mate, not quite a showroom yet.. Still have to repaint the walls and add some more lights to make it brighter.

Our mirrors squeal like hell as well, i guess its not so bad when you park in a noisey place but when its quiet.. its pain on the ears. As for wearing out of the paint, i dont think it'l become that bad mercedes cant be that cheap.....

Looks really good.
Where are all the tools, kids bikes and crap that most Aussies seem to have in the garage?
