lease car mods
Guys,
I get all jacked up reading all the mods you guys do to your cars. I was one of the people who did the lease deal on the 06 e-55. I did some mods to my old 02 e-55. Question is this. What mods can you do on a lease car without running into trouble? Do you do them and then undo them at the end of the lease??

You can do it many ways. One is to do and undo. Another is to plan on never turning the car back in. You can either buy the car out at the end and sell it or just trade it in on a new one. That is the path I usually take, since I prefer to minimize the miles allowed (and thus raise the residual). You pay either way, I'd rather pay later. Another nice option is if you plan to re-up with another Benz, then MB will waive a good amount of fees, penalties, etc. to get you into a new lease. I did this to get out of a lease early and into a new one. MB works on brand loyalty. As long as you plan to stay in a benz, they will have a package that works for you.
