EVOSPORT Rotors $1500.00!! Who is in?
I just spoke to Simon from Evosport and he said we can do a group buy for their awesome floating rotors. $1500 for the set. He needs only 5 orders and we only need four more to sign on.
This is what you get: http://www.evosport.com/images/produ...es-drilled.jpg Designed as a direct brake disc replacement for the OE E/CLS/S/CL55 AMG brake discs on all four corners (No modifications are necessary. The disc will bolt directly to the car and work with OE AMG brake calipers). Not only will the upgraded multi-piece "floating" discs help mitigate brake fade, but are lighter than stock and reduce unsprung weight by a total of 34lbs. on all four corners! This means better acceleration, braking and cornering. In addition, you get to maintain the AMG calipers without going to a more expensive solution that requires replacing them. Available drilled or slotted or slotted. |
Damn!!! I might have to buy another set just because the price is so damn good. j/k.
Aren't replacement stock rotors close to 1k? |
Count me in Rock
|
I think I'm in... I've been wondering about them for a while. Anyone who has them, can you chime in and tell us about how much better your life is since you upgraded to them?
Thanks, Loren |

i'm for sure in if i can get one for my sl55.
|
That's six of us already, so that was easy... what are the options again? Drilled & Slotted or just drilled or just slotted?
Can someone please tell me which combo / setup is best... because without putting too much more thought into it, that's what I think we should all get! :) Loren |

UPDATE!!!
Those In: 1. Rock 2. Kev04C320 3. Kens-E55 4. Rotex 5. Loren 6. GTA23109a Loren, I think you would have your choice of cross-drilled or slotted. I think the slotted have an advantage if you track your car. They offer better heat dissipation and possibly, slightly longer life. Both are significantly lighter than the stock rotors. The only advantage the cross drilled offer is looks............and that's good enough for me.:) If we get a few more, we may be able to do even better. |

Please count me in as well. My stock rotors have already started cracking.

Unless someone has the hook up on a set of sl65 rotors im in too. It has been brought to my attention that on the cross drilled the holes get very close to the edge and if you track the car or get on it hard there is no way they wont crack. If you look at the pics they do get super close to the edge. Are the cross drilled any lighter then the slotted? Are these rotors bigger then our factory ones??

Rock
i want the drilled let me know how i pay roy |

How long do these lasts? I mean because I had my stock rotors replaced at 25k miles because they began to crack. If I were to jump in on this, I would prefer the slotted. Anyone know how long it would last before it started cracking too? I don't drive all that hard but I do notice that the stock rotors crack really easily...or maybe it's just me?

CrossDrilled and Slotted is that Available from EvoSport?
my car has 18K on it and am getting ready to decide on either EvoSport or K2  |
