k1 vs k2 for e55 (w211)

thanks all for your input yesterday. a few follow up q?'s-

*cost of k1 vs k2?
*does k upgrade nullify existing mbusa factory warranty?
*is any kleemann auth. dealer good for install (topline here in SF is on the K site) and is nearby.
*love the k2-how much added for IC pump so as to guard against heat soak potential issue?
...seems the k1 would walk the v10/m5 too, no?
*does k1 or k2 badge the car and how do they typ. badge when enough mods to wear K-badge?
*what type of treads should accompany the k1 or k2 vs stock (have conti contact II)?

thanks all for your patience and assist. just traded '02/e39/m5 and went through all this w/ dinan charge, but too new to Merc so need to get educated. by the way vs the m5 and 993 Carrera ('97) i owned , the e55 is best one yet-very glad to have found my way home to Merc and crew here. thanks.

Willkommen! All you need to know is go as high of a Kleemann stage as you can and spare yourself of not doing it the first time. If you go with K1 you'll eventually want more so just go with the full K4 (pulley, ecu, headers, downpipes, cams, lsd, 80mm TB, IC pump) and get it over with. Also just my 2cnts send the car to Corey at Kleemann via InterCity Lines. No regrets just peace of mind.
