Twin Turbo Charge our 55's?
P.S. There is also a Brabus V12 bi-turbo CLS, which is supposed to be even faster than this E class.
Oh, and no need to thank me for taking the time to post the link and the photo's.
Individuals like yourself are the main reason why I don't live in Miami anymore, and why the city is the way it is.
Great attitude!!!!

again thanks for you time
Thanks for the info, but, it's been talked about on here quite a bit already.
Keep in touch with the thread.. It will start to get interesting in the coming weeks.
Here is a link to the page with specs and a hefty $$$$$355,000.00 price tag but did make it into the Guiness book of world records as the fastest 4 door sedan in the world.

[QUOTE=Energy34108;1792468]Hey guy's I only read 2 pages and hope I am not repeating what someone else posted but there is a Bi-turbo E class by Brabus with a V12.

I once knew somebody who told me that her mother has an SLK32AMG that has an added turbocharger to the existing supercharger and it was done in Germany. Whether its BS or not, it is possible as we have seen on that custom C32 turbo/supercharger...I am really looking foward to these mods, I can't wait to see the ultimate E AMG. Good luck with the greatest performance mod since the SLR-SLK!
The Best of Mercedes & AMG
Knowing them though, it will be one hundred BILLION DOLLARSSSS!!!!

1) Immobilize the lock-up on the torque convertor, this works because there is less "stuff" going on during changes. It also makes the car shift smoother. Your tech can disable the lock-up with the diagnostics and you can drive the car around to see if you like it. The only way to make it permanent is to pull the solenoid for the TC lock-up, divert the fluid for the TC lock-up circuit to the pan, and then put the solenoid back-in. The tranny computer won't complain because the solenoid is still firing as planned.
2) Run lighter tranny fluid. This works because to maintain a given pressure, the pressure control valve has to let more fluid velocity pass and the fluid flows easier. I usually go with recommended fluid but then add light additives.
This one is sometimes hard to believe for those of us that used to add shift-kits to old musclecars and switch to heavier fluid.
3) The solenoids can be adjusted (very few people know this), so baseline pressure can be bumped up.
My CL55 currently has 1) done to it. Lots of fun tagging the stall speed coming out of 1st and 2nd gear turns. Car also drives smoother. A big benny I wasn't expecting -> I have less bucking when the supercharger engages, without the lock-up the supercharger engagement is cushioned.
Downside is that it definitely doesn't put as much power down at higher speeds. I also notice that it doesn't have as much engine braking effect. Some might also worry about heat, but I haven't had any problems.
I've done 2) to ZF trannies with success, principle would apply to our MBs. Downside to this is that one can get carried away to the point that the clutches won't hold as well.
3) is too risky for my tastes ... there is a balancing act, get it wrong and the tranny can be damaged in expensive ways.
MB will probably frown on all of these ... I'm at the 51K mile mark on my CL55, so I'm getting the itch for drivetrain mods.
